The COVID-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia caused a decline in agricultural production, rising food prices, restrictions on export-import activities, and decrease non-food consumption. purpose of this study was to determine the demand for staple during era, examine household budget allocations price elasticity income elasticity. This uses expenditure data consumption Indonesian population based results March 2020 Susenas. Data analysis AIDS model. show rice is main with share 52% urban areas 57% rural areas, followed by chicken meat, eggs, cooking oil, sugar milk, respectively. Comparison between before era shows an increase all commodities other than milk while decreases rice, sugar. significantly influenced prices incomes have no significant effect. Both highest meat oil are considered inferior goods. right moment government promote local accelerate diversification programs.
